Today I embark on a mission to enlighten my sense of life through my sense of taste. From this day forward I renounce bland, flat, lifeless cuisine and embrace spicy, sweet, savory, bitter and umami with an open mind and of course... an open mouth.
Welcome to George Young's Eating The Sky. We will traverse through daily rituals of breakfast, lunch and dinner through the eyes of a man with unlimited creativity in the kitchen and the lowest budget known to mankind. I will show you how to eat rich on the cheap; how to stretch those dollars in the grocery store, still buy organic and local ingredients, and how to be creative on the fly in the kitchen. So follow me as I delve into the proverbial cupboard that is my soul...food that is.
